Heaven Hill Distillery is the only large producer of all styles of American whisky; moreover, it is the second greatest owner of bourbon aging barrels. In 2016 they received the Distillery of the Year award. Today Heaven Hill Distillery preserves the traditions of making Bourbon that were developed by Reverend Elijah Craig more than two centuries ago.
Every bottle is created with the same method as it was back then: local wheat or corn are ground and mixed with pure water from Kentucky, then fermented and distilled. Then, after years of aging in carbonized barrels, the Master Distiller chooses the most complex barrels to become Elijah Craig Small Batch and Barrel Proof.
