Vin Santo del Chianti Classico DOC
The fermentation and maturing processes occur in sealed casks of acacia and cherry wood and stored in places with a extreme seasonal temperature variations. The casks are only 70% filled.
Harvest and Aging:
The clusters are handpicked and selected from the vines. Naturally dried in well-ventilated spaces. Aged for 4-5 years in steel and cherry casks.
Yellow amber. Typical hints of dried fruit, honey, and apricots with notes of vanilla and spices. Full-bodied and velvety with great structure and roundness. A long, persistent finish with a note of well-balanced acidity.
